National Adoption Month: J is for…

#NationalAdoptionAwareness Month.

J is for #January.

January, the first month of the Gregorian Calendar, it is a new start of the year and some see it as a new chapter in their lives. January for me can be different every year as Lil Miss was born on the last day of the month. I have noticed over the past couple of years, I tend to be extra sensitive and moody during January. I add vitamin B into my morning routine during January, but sometimes that doesn’t help. So please do not get too upset if I seem a little grouchy in January, as I really am trying my hardest to stay within my happy and sassy self, and I don’t realize how my tone is when I respond until after I have said something. I do my best in reminding myself of the healthy coping skills that I have learned and remember of what I have told others to make them feel better during the birthday months of their placed children.
